Girl Building Robot

Welcome to our Special Projects Showcase, where creativity, engineering, and education come to life through student-built dioramas and interactive models. Our Special Projects division is dedicated to designing and delivering custom academic solutions that go beyond traditional tutoring. These projects are tailored to meet the evolving needs of students, families, and educational institutions seeking personalized, high-impact support.

Each project featured here is the result of deep, hands-on learning and personalized instruction designed to inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world connections. From architectural marvels to renewable energy systems, our students take on ambitious challenges—and bring them to life in miniature form.

Hydropower Energy Conversion

This project models how flowing water can generate electricity. Students designed a functioning diorama demonstrating clean energy conversion through hands-on physical science—blending physics, environmental science, and engineering innovation.

Media & Entertainment

Students created digital renditions of influential media figures who left a lasting mark on their industries. One student focused on leaders in music and film, researching and designing portraits of individuals who shaped public perception, drove cultural trends, and helped evolve entertainment media.

Inspirational Figures

This art piece celebrates inspirational figures from diverse backgrounds, chosen for their impact through activism, innovation, leadership, or creativity. The artwork explores how culture, experience, and personal values shape who we admire and why.

Sustainability

Students envisioned a sustainable future neighborhood where architecture and nature coexist. The illustration features homes in modern, traditional, and contemporary styles, each integrating vertical gardens, rooftop solar panels, and small-scale wind turbines—powering the community while enhancing its beauty and environmental quality.

Whitestone Bridge

This local New York City bridge sparked an exploration of truss design, local history, and civil engineering. Students collaborated to build a working model, applying principles of geometry and load distribution.

432 Park Avenue

Inspired by one of the tallest residential skyscrapers in the Western Hemisphere, this project challenged students to explore high-rise architecture, floor planning, and structural stability. Their model emphasized symmetry, proportion, and construction technique.

Golden Gate Bridge

Students built a scaled model of this iconic suspension bridge, exploring tension, compression, and the engineering challenges of spanning long distances over water—along with the historical and geographic context of San Francisco's infrastructur
